New acquisitions room

In the Sections 66-67 of the first floor of the permanent collection of the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, a new room devoted to the recent acquisitions of the MNAC has been opened.
The space shows a selection of works of several artists that have been deposited in the Museum in the last times. It is necessary to mention the works Casa de cites, of Carles Casagemas; Nena donant menjar a una oca, of Joan Brull; several pictures of Adolf Zerkowitz, posters of Cassandre, Labarta and Francesc d'Assís Galí, as well as other works of Isidre Nonell, Santiago Rusiñol, Josep de Togores, Eudald Serra and Josep Maria de Sucre, among other artists. These acquisitions come from purchases carried out by the Museum itself, from donations of individuals, and from deposits made by the private Foundation Amics del MNAC.
